Jade Goody dies of cervical cancer: We all knew it was only a matter of time that Jade Goody was doing to die, and yet now that the time has come, it has come as a major blow to the system. How did Goody herself depict “how long was a matter of time?” Did she see it as long enough to do the things in life she never had chance to do while alive. Did she see it as being long enough to say her goodbyes to those that meant so much to her while her heart did beat? I don`t know, but I “pray” that Jade had that chance to say her goodbyes at least. It`s pointless praying for her to have done the things in life she wanted to do because sadly, Jade Goody has not had a life. A young mother of 27 struck down with cervical cancer never to see her kids grow up or be around to collect her pension.
Okay Jade Goody was a loud a mouth at times but is this not the reason we were infatuated with her antics and outbursts, I think if some people were honest with themselves they will admit to seeing themselves in her, or may be wished that could be more like her. In her dying months, she has married, had herself and children christened and seen her new husband of a couple of weeks under threat of lock and key for assaulting a cab driver yet once again. Grow up Jack and give your wife the respect she deserves. Let us hope that the boy`s biological father takes the boys under his wing because all the work that Jade has done to ensure her kids have a good up bringing when her death finally happens – will all be for nothing if Jack Tweed is to play role of the doting dad. Jack is more busy inflicting “pain” on others than trying to help his wife cope with hers. Is this a guy that is setting a good example for these kids she so much wants to protect? Come on Jack it`s now time to change and you can do it this we know. We seen it in your eyes the day you married Jade where the real you shone through, with your loving and caring approach to Jade herself and Bobby and Freddy.
The sad thing about the entire case surrounding Jade Goody was that she has been persecuted for trying to do her best by her kids. Jade in her last couple of weeks and after undergoing bowel surgery was adamant that she was to be discharged from hospital so she could see and be around her two sons Bobby and Freddy. Unfortunately, even this has been snatched from Jade. Already she has the lost the sight in one eye and has impaired vision in the other. Jade Goody going blind was the headlines, how sad. This courageous young mother not only having to live her last final weeks knowing she was never to see her kids ever again when she was gone, but denied this before she goes.
In one of Goody`s live interviews she said her sons Bobby and Freddy don’t yet realize the full ramifications of the cervical cancer that has spread to her liver, bowel and groin. She also said “I’m not sure they know what dying means, and in a way I don’t want them to know the full ins and outs,” however, in all her pain Jade found the courage to tell her sons of her plight, and you may bet that has to be the most painful thing any mother would ever have to do.
Jade rest in peace because your boys will see that you did your best to protect them from all the grizzly details even in your hour of need. Your boys will over time find out just how brave their mum really was right up to the end. One touching thing she added was
“I will be the brightest star in the sky for them, always looking over them and protecting them,” she said. We know Jade, you have proven that. Aside from the issue of trying to secure her little boys future financially that so many people have a beef with, she is also trying to use some of the publicity to highlight a campaign backed by the U.K. cervical cancer charity Jo’s Trust to lower the age at which young women can get testing to help detect the disease. I would say this levels it out nicely. Not only is she now giving her kids a lifeline to help them succeed in life, she is also saving life a hundreds times over. I don`t see Jade Goody as a woman to be pitied but more the woman to be admired. Was the morphine drip hooked up to her 24 hours a day not proof enough to show she pains without rubbing salt in her wounds.
I relate to the argument brought to light about Jade Goody cashing in on her misfortune while hundreds of other women suffer the same plight, and, that why should she be any different. Well we have to accept that everything about Jade Goody is different. She has lived her life in the limelight earning her status. People with status whether they like it or not find their personal and private life invaded regardless of it being a pleasantry or plight. Jade has taken advantage of this and used it to her advantage. Peace of mind (your kids are safe) has to be better than any medicine in your dying hours and being a mum she knows this.
Jade Goody is dead but lives on in spirit.
Jade Goody you’re a mum in a million. And for all other women without status it doesn’t make you any less of a better mother because, you are one of the mums in million we refer too.

Surveys reveal that over 75% of people having facial acne also suffer from body acne as well. Of these 90% carry this infection on their back, neck, shoulders and chest. A small percentage has acne on their legs and abdomen. While facial acne is undoubtedly harmful to a person’s personality, body acne is no less damaging. Body acne makes it difficult for men to go shirtless in public and prevents women from wearing low cut dresses, sleeveless garments and swim wear. The impact and severity of body acne can be minimized by taking a few precautions and by using time-tested medications.
Body acne poses a greater challenge than facial acne. For one thing, the back is not easy to reach. Secondly, these parts contain a large number of pores that produce more oil and are more vulnerable to infections than the face. Thirdly, the skin on the back is thicker and does not respond to doses of topical or oral medications that work for facial acne.
Almost all commercial creams and lotions contain one of the three commonly used antidotes – benzoyl peroxide, a glycolic acid derivative or salicylic acid. These compounds unclog the pores and possess an anti-bacterial property that helps fight acne. Further, they help in reducing the oil content of the skin. While these compounds have produced promising results, they can over-dry the skin and care must be taken to use moisturizing agents to prevent this condition.
Supporters of herbal cures recommend creams containing combinations of extracts from a variety of herbs. These include neem, honeysuckle, yellow dock, dandelion root and sarsaparilla roots. They act as mild antibiotics, anti-inflammatory agents and claim to detoxify blood. Body scrubs enhance exfoliation and are used to promote a healthy skin. Apricots are commonly used in these scrubs to provide roughage. Oral antibiotics and vitamins (B2, B3, A and E) are a useful adjuvant in battling acne.
Some simple health and hygiene measures go a long way in controlling acne. First of all, dermatologists agree that stress induces hormonal changes that in turn aggravate acne. Staying “cool” helps control acne.
Hygiene measures include regular body washes using antibacterial soaps, using moisturizing creams, using a soft towel to dry the skin, removing sweaty garments as soon as possible, avoiding pinching affected areas, exercising and getting enough rest. The best thing to do always is to consult a dermatologist before using any medication – oral or topical.

It is annoying to be stuck in traffic jams. Do you know that a “traffic jam” can also occur in our body? This is no trivial matter. What are the 3 things you must know in order to prevent a malfunction circulatory system?
A malfunctioning circulatory system can cause arrhythmia, stroke, arteriosclerosis, high blood pressure, overly high cholesterol levels, obesity and heart disease. Heart disease contributes to one-third of total global deaths!
So, what are the “roadblocks” that cause the “traffic jam” on the body’s “highways”? Blood and fat clots in blood vessels, arteries and veins are the real culprits. But how are they formed? It all boils down to the daily dietary habits. Excessive fats in the diet will lead to high blood fats and cause the blood cholesterol levels to rise, eventually leading to heart disease, stroke and increased risk of blood clot formation.
Let’s prevent it before it is too late.
Eat Heart-Healthy Foods
Plant foods such as vegetables and fruits are rich in phytochemicals and antioxidants, and help refresh the body. Grape seed contains high amounts of OPC antioxidant. The antioxidant activity of OPC is 20 times more powerful than vitamin C. OPC is found in plant skin and seeds. Research shows that OPC can strengthen capillaries, arteries and veins, and improve blood circulation. Besides grape seed, there are other ideal choices for nourishing the circulatory system include chrysanthemum, rose, spinach, celery, fishes rich in omega-3 fatty acids, dark vegetables and fresh fruit, which are high in antioxidants.
Exercise Moderately
Besides diet, moderate exercise also helps to keep the circulatory system healthy. Those above 30 years old who eat out most of the time, should take particular care of their diet, to eat more plant foods and exercise moderately. With age, the maximum oxygen intake and arterial elasticity decrease, there is luminal narrowing and greater resistance to blood flow. Sustained exercise helps reduce blood fats and strengthen the heart muscle.
Monitor Your Cholesterol Intake
The American Heart Association recommends that our daily cholesterol intake should not exceed 300 mg. Most vegetables and fruits do not contain any cholesterol. Hence, taking more plant foods greatly benefits your health. Take note of your daily cholesterol intake, keep to a balanced diet and maintain a healthy body.

Since the ancient period, people have been using dietary supplement for a variety of reasons. In ancient China, people believed that supplements could promote good health and at the same time cure certain illnesses. These supplements were made from natural herbs and extracts of animal parts.
Apart from ancient China, natural supplements from herbs and plants were also widely used in Egypt, the Mediterranean region, and among the Indian civilizations of North and South America. It is safe to assume that the use of natural dietary supplement during the ancient period was fairly widespread.
Today, supplements are easier to obtain and they come in various formulations and packaging. You can easily find a bottle of dietary supplement in any local pharmacy or convenience shop. You can also find supplements being retailed online. These are the major factors why supplements usage has grown considerably around the world.
The Top Consumers of Dietary Supplement
Because of their exposure to massive advertising, stronger buying power, and advanced access to health information, you may assume that people in advanced industrialized countries would be the top consumers of dietary health supplements. However, such assumption is inaccurate because Asians are still the top consumers of these supplements.
More specifically, the prevalence of dietary supplement consumption is very high in Thailand and China. The majority of Thais for example take supplements on a regular basis especially multivitamins and nutraceutical that are indicated for weight loss. In China however, Eastern form of supplements are more popular than the Western manufactured dietary pills.
The prevalence of supplement usage in the region can be attributed to the fondness of Asians for folk remedies. Because the people are accustomed to taking herbal medicines, they are also comfortable in taking modern dietary supplement.
Global Trend on Health Supplement Use
Among Western countries, the United States is the leading consumer of dietary nutraceutical. However, the use of these supplements in the US came to fore only during the mid to late 20th century. The production of nutraceutical products and supplements during those periods accelerated. It was driven by advertising, affluence of the citizens, and the emerging need to stay healthy and fit in a modern world.
Daily dietary supplement intake among the people of Europe is relatively lower compared to the intake levels in the United States. The people of Greece for example rarely take manufactured supplements. This can be traced back to the belief of ancient Greeks that good health could be obtained from physical activities and sports.
In other parts of the world, the use of dietary supplement is also quite popular. In Japan, people tend to favor taking natural supplements for longevity. In Australia and New Zealand, there is also a huge demand for supplements especially nutraceutical products that could help people to lose excess weight.
Since the ancient period, people were already taking dietary health supplements. You should take note however that different cultures have varying views about the impact of supplements. Some think that dietary supplement could promote good health while others believe that it could help them lose weight faster.

There have been over forty bee pollen clinical studies conducted throughout the world. The results were almost always conclusive and displayed the same set off an explosion throughout the medical community. Many people with allergies and hay fever as well as numerous other conditions took part in the bee pollen clinical studies. They will be outlined more in detail in the coming paragraphs regarding the conditions of the patients who participated in bee pollen clinical studies.
The Results of Bee Pollen Clinical Studies
The results of bee pollen clinical studies were absolutely overwhelming. They revealed what the bible reveals about bee pollen as well as ancient Egyptian and Chinese scripts disclosed. Bee pollen is a helpful and effective answer for our present day habitual use of consuming imperfect foods with many added chemicals. These toxins are directly connected to today’s growing physiological problems.
Of the people who took part in the bee pollen clinical studies, they were all administered oral bee pollen and had a variety of issues. 78 percent of patients suffering from asthma averaged a 75 percent improvement when prescribed bee pollen. It was a remarkable discover in the helping of asthma patients. 73 percent of patients with hay fever also showed a 75 percent improvement rate when given bee pollen orally.
Amazingly, 17.8 percent of hay fever patients who took part in the bee pollen clinical studies showed a absolute one hundred percent improvement with the oral bee pollen. Another 33.3 percent of the asthma patients partaking in the bee pollen clinical studies also had a complete improvement without recurring. In these cases the sooner the bee pollen treatment began, the better the success rate was for pre-season treatment.
The bee pollen clinical studies also showed that an ingredient called Quercetin in bee pollen stops the release of histamine in the body. This is likely one of the causative factors in the allergic and hay fever sufferers that took part in the bee pollen clinical studies.
Another part of bee pollen clinical studies that took place in 1983 showed that patients that took excessive amounts of bee pollen suffered from laxative like effects. However it is pointedly unclear whether this effect was due to the patient being overly sensitive; or due to poor quality pollen.

When we think of acne, we think of blemishes on the face. But unfortunately, acne is not disagreeable to the idea of taking up residence on others parts of the body, and many people experience breakouts on their backs, arms, and shoulders. This can be very embarrassing and frustrating to deal with-while there are scores of facial products targeted at acne prone skin, body acne seems to get less attention. Really, though, the methods for preventing and curing body acne are not drastically different from what you would do for your face in such a situation.
Exfoliate
The skin on your back, chest, arms and shoulders is much more durable than facial skin and can withstand more frequent scrubbing-it’s also more likely to suffer from clogged pores since the skin cells are thicker. So don’t hesitate to slough of blemishes in the shower with a body scrub. Just avoid a product that contains alcohol, as these can try out the skin and in turn lead to increased oil production and more acne. Use a body brush to reach the middle of your back and your shoulders.
Your Detergent Could Be to Blame
Harsh clothing detergents are often the culprit for body breakouts. This is especially likely if you have a history of sensitive skin. Fragrances and dyes commonly found in detergents can irritate and inflame the sebaceous glands, which regulate oil production. Use a gentle detergent made for sensitive skin and don’t skimp on the rinse cycle when washing clothes.
Hydrate
Many people religiously moisturize their faces, but are not so likely to use lotion on their body. Its important to keep skin hydrated and balanced so the skin doesn’t feel the need the pump out extra oil. It’s important to find a moisturizer that’s light and oil-free, without any irritating dyes or fragrances.
Whether you suffer from body acne or just want to avoid any embarrassing breakouts next tank top season, the above tips will help you keep your skin clear all over. The key is to show the rest of your skin the same attention you give to your face.
